Main character (Protagonist):

Simba- a young lion cub who is the heir to the pride lands.

 

Goal:

Simba’s goal is to find his place as king of the pride land after the death of his father, Mufasa.

CONFLICT (WHAT STOPS HIM):

v  Internal conflict: Simba struggles with guilt, fear, and self-doubt after being manipulated into believing he caused his father’s death.

 

v  External conflict: scar, his uncle, seizes power and blames Simba for Mufase’s death, causing Simba to run away and hide from his responsibilities.

 

 

SUPPORTING CHARACTERS:

Ø  Mufasa (Simba’s father and former king)

Ø  Nala (Simba’s best friend and queen)

Ø  Timon & Pumbaa (Simba’s comedic companions who help his grow)

Ø  Scar (the antagonist who kills Mufasa and usurps the throne)

Ø  Rafiki (the wise mandrill who guides Simba)

 

Climax:

Simba returns to pride rock, confronts scar, and learn the truth about Mufasa’s death. This gives him the courage to fight for his rightful place as king.

 

RESOLUTION:

Simba defeats scar and reclaims the throne. The pride land are restored to peace and prosperity, and Simba begins his reign as king with Nala by his side.

 

Theme:

The film explores themes of responsibility, identity, courage, and the cycle of life
