Simba

believing he caused his father’s death.

scar, his uncle, seizes power and blames Simba for Mufase’s death, causing
Simba to run away and hide from his responsibilities.

Simba
defeats scar and reclaims the throne. The pride land are restored to peace and
prosperity, and Simba begins his reign as king with Nala by his side.
